How we use your information
We use your name, email, message and any wedding or veil details you provide to answer your enquiry, arrange a consultation and discuss a commission.
We process enquiries to take steps towards a contract at your request. We also have a legitimate interest in managing correspondence and preventing misuse. Enquiring does not add you to a mailing list.
Who we share information with
We share information with the service providers who host our website, store our data and deliver our emails. They also process technical information, such as IP addresses, to keep the website running securely.
Some providers process data outside the UK, including PostHog in the US. Contact us for details of the safeguards used for international transfers. We do not sell your information.
Analytics and cookies
We use PostHog and Google Ads to understand how people use our website and which adverts lead to enquiries. These services run automatically and use cookies and browser storage. Advertising click identifiers are kept for up to 90 days.
We share advertising activity with Google to measure results and personalise advertising. When you enquire, PostHog processes your email address and we send a hashed version to Google to match enquiries with adverts. Google may process this information outside the UK.
You can manage or clear cookies through your browser settings.
How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as needed to handle your enquiry or commission and meet legal or accounting requirements.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or restrict its use or receive a portable copy where applicable. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email emma@eludesigns.co.uk to exercise your rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
